The key responsibilities of a WSHO include:
Construction sites can generate significant environmental impacts, such as air and water pollution, waste, and noise. An ECO is required to manage these environmental risks and ensure that construction projects comply with the relevant regulations set by the National Environment Agency (NEA) or other regulatory bodies.
An FSM must be registered with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and must have completed an accredited fire safety manager course. The individual should also have relevant experience in fire safety management, such as knowledge of fire protection systems, building codes, emergency response planning, and fire risk assessment.
